The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was approved by the MHRD and launched by Honourable Minister of Human Resource Development on 29th September 2015.

   About our College

Bharat Ratna Doctor Puratchi Thalaivar MGR Arts and Science College was established on 24th July 2017. The college has started with Eight new UG Courses such as Tamil, English, History, Economics, Maths, Computer Science, BBA and Commerce. (G.O. No. (finance) No. 197,Hr. Education (GI) Dated : 24.07.2017 and ( G.O. No. (finance) No. 206, Hr. Education (GI) Dated 01.08.2017. Long term demand of Palacode area People is to have a Arts and Science College in Palacode. Itself it has fulfilled by the Honorable Higher Education Minister K.P. Anbalagan. Furthermore the role of the main personnel of the Palacode is due to this factor. The college was named Bharat Ratna Doctor Puratchi Thalaivar MGR Arts and Science College by the Honorable Chief Minister of TamilNadu Edapady PazhzniSamy in the function of Dr. MGR Centenary function which held in Dharmapuri District in the memory of former Chief Minister Dr. MGR. Our Chief Minister has issued relevant GO for the Above. The management of Dharmapuri District Co-Operative Society of Sugar Mill and the formers of Palacode area have combined together and allotted 5 acre Land in the premises of Co-Operative Society itself. This honorable event are were appreciable e and respectable .
